Question: After the episode where Gibbs’ and Fornell’s ex-wife was shot, will NCIS address what happens to her child with Fornell? —Joy
Ausiello: As a matter of fact, the Feb. 17 episode, titled “Cabin Fever,” will deal with many of the reverberations of Diane’s tragic death — as felt by the men in her life as well as daughter Emily. “There are some really brilliant moments between Mark Harmon and Joe Spano, as they spend some time in Gibbs’ cabin and hash out some of the issues they’re both facing because of that loss,” showrunner Gary Glasberg previews. “And Emily makes an appearance too — it’s all part of what Fornell is carrying right now. He’s having trouble, and Gibbs is there as a friend.”

Got any scoop you can share about Abby’s boyfriend on NCIS? How long might this relationship last? –Robert
Showrunner Gary Glasberg told me that with the Sergei Michnev story heating back up as well as other fish to fry, “We step away from [Abby’s romance with Burt] for a little while” — though not for forever. “Everybody really likes having [Johann Urb] around, so I’m sure you’ll see him again,” Glasberg shares, adding: “It’s been nice to have everybody kind of in pleasant relationships!”

Will we see any more of Delilah on NCIS? — Timmy
You’re not the only one wanting to see more of the Delilah-McGee romance, Timmy. Even though she’s currently working in Dubai, Sean Murray remains positive about the prospect of her return. “I’m sure we’re going to see more of her,” he says. “I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see her this season. … I like [McGee] and Delilah together. … It’s fun and I think it’s a side of McGee we don’t get to see very often. Usually the only love life he’s got is what’s going on with Abby that week.” But McGabby fans can relax: There’s no plans for McGee to get a tattoo for Delilah for now.

On Tuesday’s holiday episode of NCIS, McGee (Sean Murray) takes a trip down memory lane as he pens a heartfelt letter to his father, whom he’s preparing to visit for the holidays.
“McGee is kind of reflecting on the past and on the rules that Gibbs has tried to instill in the team over the years, and questioning some of those rules and just thinking back,” Murray tells TVGuide.com. “He’s going to spend the holiday with … his dad, and that’s something that he doesn’t frequently do. They have a strained relationship. He’s sort of estranged from his father, and part of him writing that letter, I think, is him getting out a lot of stuff he can’t necessarily say.”
The episode also calls back to the season premiere, as McGee takes the lead on a cyber terrorism case, and the team recruits previously seen villains to help them solve the case in the week before Christmas.
As part of McGee’s nostalgia-fest, viewers will be treated to a host of flashbacks featuring current and former characters — including, yes, Ziva David (Cote de Pablo). “It’s an episode that really, I think, is kind of a reward to longtime fans,” Murray says.

CBS’ NCIS will take its deepest dive ever into Agent Tony DiNozzo’s past with an episode that flashes back to his days as a teenager attending a military preparatory academy.
Taking on the role of Young DiNozzo, TVLine has learned exclusively, will be Tanner Stine, whose credits include Nickelodoen’s Haunted Hathaways and The Thundermans.
Showrunner Gary Glasberg touts Stine as a “terrific kid who literally studied Michael Weatherly’s mannerisms” and in turn “blew us away in the audition. He came in with the haircut, the attitude, the whole thing.”
Also guest-starring in the episode is Steve Harris (The Practice, Legends), appearing in both timelines as Tony’s onetime mentor/basketball coach who’s now the provost of the military academy he once attended.
TV’s most watched drama, NCIS presents its Christmas-themed winter finale this Tuesday at 8/7c. The Teenage Tony episode is due to air during February sweeps.

You mean with, perhaps, ATF Agent Zoe Keates? I can confirm that Marisol Nichols has been booked for an early 2015 encore, while Emily Wickersham recently acknowledged to me that Tony and Zoe had “really great chemistry.” She added, “Tony’s love life definitely unfolds. I can say that.”
