NCIS’ Mark Harmon and
First American Financial Chairman Parker S. Kennedy
Mark Harmon, actor, producer and star of CBS’ NCIS will receive the John Wooden Sportsman Award from the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation – an organization that honors Marines by providing higher education opportunities to their children – at its 28th Annual West Coast Marine Ball at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Hotel in Dana Point, CA, on Saturday, October 30, 2010.
Parker S. Kennedy, Executive Chairman of First Financial Corporation and Corelogic, Inc. will receive the 2010 Semper Fidelis Award at the event. A pillar of the Southern California business community, the Semper Fidelis Award honors Kennedy’s lifetime of community and philanthropic leadership. In 2003, Forbes Magazine recognized Kennedy as one of America’s top chief executives.
Gary Beban, a Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation Board Director, 1967 Heisman Trophy Winner, and the 2007 recipient of the Wooden Award says, “Being honored by the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation humbles you. Legendary UCLA Coach John Wooden achieved greatness through teaching beliefs and philosophies that parallel those of the Marine Corps. Mark Harmon truly embodies the building blocks and virtues of Coach Wooden’s Pyramid of Success. As such, the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation is proud to recognize him with this award, as well as Parker Kennedy with the Semper Fidelis Award.”
Ambassador George L. Argyros, Chairman & CEO of Arnel & Affiliates and a past Semper Fidelis honoree, once again serves as the event’s Honorary Dinner Chairman while Michael K. Hayde, CEO of Western National Group, and Herbert W. Kalmbach, Esq. serve as the Dinner Chairmen. Michael Hayde received the 2009 Semper Fidelis Award while Herbert Kalmbach received the Foundation’s 2009 Globe & Anchor Award.

I have added Episode stills for Episode 8×07 which is titled Broken Arrow. And it has the return of Mr. Anthony DiNozzo Sr. Aka Robert Wagner. The episode airs Nov 9th on CBS.
Bruce Boxleitner (Scarecrow and Mrs. King, Babylon 5) will guest-star on NCIS during fall sweeps, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.
Boxleitner will play Vice Admiral C. Clifford Chase, a high-ranking Navy official who turns to Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and the rest of the NCIS team when his friend is killed. Chase believes the motive behind the murder could have national security implications.
Best known for his roles as operative Lee Stetson on Scarecrow and John J. Sheridan on Babylon 5, Boxleitner, 60, has also appeared on such series as How the West Was Won, Bring ‘Em Back Alive, Chuck, Cold Case and Heroes. He also starred as the title character in Tron, a role he is set to reprise in December’s Tron: Legacy.
NCIS airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on CBS. Boxleitner’s episode, “Broken Arrow,” is scheduled to air Nov. 9.

Right now it’s the nominee selections for the People Choice Awards. And Both Mark Harmon and NCIS (As well as the sister Show NCIS: LA, and Two of their Main Male stars Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J) are on the list. So be sure to vote for Mark and NCIS (As well as NCIS:LA & Chris and LL).
In typical fashion, NCIS hinted briefly on this week’s season premiere at a major, future story arc that had nothing to do with the plot unfolding Tuesday: The return of Eli David.
According to Entertainment Weekly, in November, Ziva comes face-to-face with her dad for the first time since her return from Israel. Executive producer Shane Brennan says:
“It’s an emotionally-charged reunion [with Ziva] in a two-part episode that also reveals much about the enigmatic Eli David and one of the other team members.”
