ADAM: Unlike in years past, the elder DiNozzo (guest star Robert Wagner) isn’t involved in the team’s case. “He comes back because he wants to spend Christmas with his son,” executive producer Gary Glasberg says. “There are many years of issues that exist between them. So, it’s not about a case — it’s really a personal story between the two of them.” Given some of the more “personal” moments that Tony has had with Ziva lately, could the conversation turn to her during the father-son heart-to-heart? “It definitely comes up,” Glasberg hints.
